What I am going to do might seem unheard of and strange, but it's something I firmly believe in--prayer across the world for someone or something, in this case a girl I only know through a mutual friend.<br /><br /><br />A teen girl named KT, a close friend of mine, recently told me about her cousin LoAnne and the struggles she was facing. LoAnne has a disease called ulcerative colitis, which is an inflammatory bowel disease. UC affects the large intestine (the colon) and is very closely related to Crohn's Disease.<br /><br /><br />LoAnne has been given a 1% survival rate for this year, and after fighting for most of her life, she is giving up. I've created this blog in hope--hope that many, many more people will be able to pray for this beautiful girl, that she can fight for her life.<br /><br /><br /><br />I myself am a Christian, and I do not know what LoAnne's religious background is.
